Invitation to take the Assessment of Youth/Young Adult Voice at the Agency Level (Y–VAL)

Good news! The deadline to complete the Youth/Young Adult Voice at the Agency Level (Y–VAL) survey has been extended to April 15th! If you work with a youth/young adult serving agency that values youth decision making at the agency level, this is an opportunity to aid in the development of an assessment that measures support for meaningful participation of young people.

Researchers at Pathways RTC (Portland State University) are collaborating with Youth MOVE National in developing an assessment to measure support for the meaningful participation of youth and young adults in advising and decision making at the agency level. The purpose of the study is to determine whether this survey is an accurate assessment tool for organizations to use if they wish to measure their support for the inclusion of youth and young adult voice.

To do this, we are widely recruiting people in the field and asking them to complete an online survey that takes 20–30 minutes. Taking the survey is completely voluntary, and the risk to you is very low. For more information, please review the Information for Survey Participants.

To begin the survey, click on the button below. You can stop the survey and come back later to resume if you use the same computer. Please complete the survey by 4/15/17.
