Invitation to take the Assessment of Youth/Young Adult Voice at the Agency Level (Y–VAL)

Do you work for a youth– or young adult–serving agency that involves young people in advising or decision–making? Or are you an advisor, consultant or board member of an agency or organization like this?

If so, here is an opportunity to support the work of Youth MOVE National and Pathways RTC — AND to have a 1–in–50 chance of winning a $100 gift card!

Researchers at Pathways RTC (Portland State University) are collaborating with Youth MOVE National in developing an assessment to measure support for the meaningful participation of youth and young adults in advising and decision making at the agency level. The purpose of the study is to determine whether this survey is an accurate assessment tool for organizations to use if they wish to measure their support for the inclusion of youth and young adult voice.

To do this, we are widely recruiting people in the field and asking them to complete an online survey that takes 20–30 minutes. Participants who complete the survey can enter a drawing with a 1–in–50 chance to win a $100 Amazon gift card.

Taking the survey is completely voluntary, and the risk to you is very low. For more information, please review the Information for Survey Participants.

To begin the survey, click on the button below. You can stop the survey and come back later to resume if you use the same computer. Please complete the survey by 3/31/17.

Feel free to forward this link to others who may be interested in taking the survey. We are hoping to get at least one young person and one adult from each participating agency to complete the assessment. So please go ahead and send this to a partner from your agency!

Thank you for your support!
