New Tip Sheet: What Is Peer Support and What Is NOT Peer Support?

Pathways RTC’s AMP+ project is focused on developing the young adult peer support workforce, which plays a critical role in mental health services for youth and young adults. The project researchers have developed a new tip sheet designed as an informational and training resource for young adults working as youth peer support specialists (YPSSs), as well as their clients and other providers. It outlines the primary functions of the young adult peer support role and addresses some of the common misconceptions about this important work.
