Upcoming Webinar: "Multisystemic Therapy for Emerging Adults (MST-EA): Treating Young Adults Who Have Justice Involvement and Behavioral Health Conditions"
Date/Time: Wednesday, March 22, 2017, 1pm – 2pm PT / 4pm – 5pm ET
MST-EA focuses on reducing recidivism and increasing young adults’ positive functioning in the critical areas of emerging adulthood, as well as ensuring treatment and management of mental illness and any co-occurring substance use disorder. For this webinar, Maryann Davis and Ashli Sheidow (both of whom are featured in the upcoming 2017 "Justice and Recovery" edition of Focal Point), will discuss MST-EA and emerging research on this promising intervention.

Help Test New Tool to Assess Youth Participation
Pathways RTC researchers and Youth M.O.V.E. National have developed a new tool for agencies to assess whether their policies and procedures support the meaningful participation of young people in decision-making. If you work for or with an agency that wants to include youth and young adults in agency decision-making, please help test this tool by completing an online survey. Survey participants can enter a raffle for a 1-in-50 chance of winning a $100 Amazon gift card!

Pathways Featured in "Program Spotlight"
Pathways RTC and its research are highlighted in the March 2017 edition of "Practicing Recovery: Recovery in Transition Age Youth," published by Advocates for Human Potential, Inc. The Program Spotlight includes an overview of the history of Pathways, its areas of research and links to major research projects, as well as some of the tools and tip sheets available from Pathways.

Improving Mental Health Care for Children and Adolescents
The Agency for Healthcare Research and Quality (AHRQ), through its Evidence-based Practice Centers (EPCs), has published its research review on the effectiveness of quality improvement, implementation, and dissemination strategies that seek to improve the mental health care of children and adolescents.

Webinar: How to Navigate Clinical Interactions with Deaf Sign Language Users
