Tip Sheet: Helping Young Adults from Foster Care Succeed in College

Pathways' Project FUTURES is testing an intervention aimed at helping young adults from foster care with mental health stressors succeed in post-secondary education. Enhancing self-determination and community participation are the active ingredients of this intervention. Project FUTURES' new tip sheet is designed to help campus staff understand and respond to the unique needs of these young people.

Tamara Sale (Project EASA Connections) recently participated in a Learning Community webinar hosted by FREDLA on the Role of Family-Run Organizations in responding to Early Psychosis. Tamara described the latest information and research about early psychosis (EP). She also discussed how family-run organizations can support EP interventions.
