The Journal of Behavioral Health Services & Research (JBHS&R) recently published an introduction to an upcoming "special section." This special section will be dedicated to positive developmental strategies for engaging young adults and improving outcomes. The introduction, written by Pathways RTC staff, provides an overview of this new offering.

Webinar Series: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy for Psychosis

Over three sessions, Dr. Kate Hardy from Stanford University School of Medicine will offer a full introduction to CBTp and continuing education credits are available. In order to register for the full series, you must register for each session separately. (All sessions take place on Mondays during the month of August between 10am and 11:30am PST.)

The National Wraparound Initiative Needs Help Developing an Online Training!

The NWI has been developing a series of online, video-based Wraparound training boosters that illustrate key practice principles with footage from actual Wraparound sessions. Help out by taking the booster training and giving feedback. Participation is completely voluntary and incentives are available. Please contact Emily Taylor for more details.

Transitions RRTC Seeks Young Adults to Participate in Research

The Transition-age Youth Psychotherapy Experiences (TYPE) study is designed to gain a better understanding of the experiences of Transition Age Youth (TAY) receiving outpatient psychotherapy treatment. Results of the study will be used to improve therapy so that it fits better with what young adults want or need. Providers and young adults can learn more about the study from the links below.

The conference brings together family members, young adults, and professionals in a safe setting, free from stigma and one that celebrates skills and successes. Each year, the conference generates a large amount of discussion on the current issues and trends pertaining to children's mental health from the perspective of a family-driven and youth-guided approach.

The 30th Annual Research & Policy Conference on Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Behavioral Health is sponsored by the Department of Child and Family Studies at the University of South Florida.
