Pathways Researchers Will Be Going to Tampa

Join us at the 29th Annual Research & Policy Conference on Child, Adolescent, and Young Adult Behavioral Health. Visit us at our exhibitor table and attend our conference presentations:

  • Tamara Sale (Project EASA Connections) and Janet Walker will present during the conference plenary on early intervention in psychosis.
  • Eileen Brennan and Pauline Jivanjee (Project PTTP) will present on transition service provider competencies as well as a poster on an online training program for transition service providers.
  • Nancy Koroloff (Project S/PAC) and Janet Walker will present on evaluating NITT-HT systems change.

Pathways Researcher to Present at Congressional Briefing

On Friday, March 4th, Dr. Laurie Powers will join a panel of researchers in a presentation at the U.S. Capitol. She will address ways to support secondary students with disabilities in successfully moving to college and career. Dr. Powers is Professor Emerita and former Associate Dean for Research at the Regional Research Institute of the School of Social Work at Portland State University. Among her numerous projects, she was a Co-Principal Investigator of past Pathways projects Better Futures and Achieve My Plan.

Presenters described a study of youth-led organizations that worked to change policies affecting young adults with mental health challenges. New Focal Point on Early Psychosis Intervention Coming Soon!

Early psychosis intervention is showing that much of the trauma and disability of psychosis can be prevented. Early psychosis intervention services are rapidly becoming available, proving that we have every reason for hope. There's still time to join the mailing list to receive this issue in late April.
