New Article on Supporting Youth to Participate in Higher Education

This article highlights positive outcomes from an intervention by Pathways' Better Futures project (a precursor to Project FUTURES) to improve post-secondary preparation and participation of youth in foster care with mental health challenges.

On Sunday, January 18, 2015 at 6:30PM Pacific, tune in to Portland’s 101.9 FM, KINK. Tamara Sale, Principal Investigator with Pathways’ EASA Connections project, will be a special guest KINK's public affairs show. She will be discussing EASA’s ongoing effort to educate families and encourage rapid referral when the early signs of psychosis occur. The interview will also be available as a podcast.

Using ILPs to Support College and Career Readiness

The National Collaborative on Workforce and Disability (NCWD) recently released the findings of a 5-year study on the use of individualized learning plans (ILPs). Results show that students with and without disabilities who use ILPs choose more advanced courses to prepare them for post-secondary education.
